After a couple of weeks of back & forth with the race photography company, I finally received the download I had paid for.Taken minutes after I crossed the finish line...this was my look of pride...of accomplishment. I still have the medal hanging from the top of the mirror on my dresser. I look at it every day. It reminds me of something I already knew - I can do ANYTHING I put my mind to. It is an affirmation that I don't have to say out loud. All I have to do is look up at it.
I swore I wouldn't do another race...and yet have the link to the Columbia Sprint Tri & the Columbia Triathlon in my inbox with a reminder of when registration opens. Go figure. I guess I got the bug. We'll see.
Whatever I decide....
