If You Appreciate Their Service, Give Them a Sign...

The Gratitude Campaign

  1. I've seen this video before and the following is for your readers to ponder, as I know you are a ballsy gal of the highest caliber and I love you very much.

I think this approach is kinda gutless. Look everyone. These great soldiers have suffered more discomfort than you'll ever know in your entire life. Walk right up and say "thank you for your service," smile and shake their hands. Screw your discomfort. Think about theirs and step up, for cryin out loud! Think of them...they fight over ther for you and you children so we don't have to do it here.

  2. I would tend to agree with you. I never have a problem talking to the soldiers who suffer and shed blood so that I don't have to (anymore at least) - I'm a hugger actually. However, unless we make a video to show the gutless how to man up and say thank you with our voices then it ain't gonna happen. I wish more people had the guts to take action, make a stand & speak up, but the majority of people IMHO would rather "not get involved" and just walk on by instead. It is a damn shame. While the video is a tad of a cop out, it gives the rank and file a way of "speaking up." Shame.
